Unless otherwise stated or defined in this Privacy Policy, the capitalized terms used herein have the same definitions as in the Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by means including, but not limited to, an email to the email address listed by registered users and/or by posting a notice and the revised Privacy Policy on our Services. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to maintain a valid email address as a registered user. B) Information We Receive from Third Parties.

We work with certain service providers that provide us information about users, Candidates, and potential customers of our Services:

  1. We collect information about Candidates from public job boards, which may include Contact Information, Education Information, and Professional and Employment-Related Information regarding those potential Candidates.

  2. We may purchase Contact Information, such as email addresses, from third parties for marketing purposes.

  3. If you authorize us to connect your account to a "Connected Site", we may access information you have provided to the Connected Site.

  4. We do not directly collect Payment Information; however, you may make payments through our Services. Your Payment Information is handled through our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

  5. Service providers may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to deliver us Analytics Information.

C) Information We Collect through Automatic Means.

As you navigate through and interact with the Services, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

  1. Log Information
    Your IP address, time of the request, and a unique device Identifier.

  2. Cookies
    We employ first-party cookies and similar tracking technologies to allow you to easily remember your device.

    To assess Candidates’ qualifications and connect them to Employers.

  • Identifiers & Log Information
    To authenticate accounts and ensure a safe user experience.

  • User Feedback and Content
    To deliver content as per user direction and improve Services.

We may use the information to protect the rights, safety, and property of our business and users or to comply with legal obligations.

3) HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share the information described above in the following ways:

  • General sharing of information
    Within our corporate family, during business transfers, to enforce agreements, to comply with legal requests, and to protect rights and safety.

  • Service Providers
    To perform services in connection with our operations and improve Services.

Career.Place is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

This document only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third parties.

10) NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES

It is our policy to provide notifications via email notice or posting on the Application. You may opt out of certain notifications.

11) CAREER.PLACE AS A DATA PROCESSOR

We collect information under the direction of our client (data controller). To request access or correction of data, direct your request to the client.

12) NEVADA RESIDENTS

Under Nevada law, residents may submit requests regarding disclosures of personal information.

13) CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

California residents can make requests regarding their personal information under the CCPA.

14) EEA, UK, AND SWISS RESIDENTS

Residents of these areas should be aware that their personal information will be processed in the U.S. and have certain rights regarding their data.
